The TASER C2 personal protection system offers the peace of mind in
knowing you have the most effective self-defense option available -
without resorting to lethal force. The TASER C2 uses a replaceable
cartridge unit, which employs compressed nitrogen to fire two barbed
probes at 160 feet per second. These probes, while remaining connected
to the C2 by insulated conductive wires, hit the target and complete a
circuit. An electrical impulse is then transmitted from the C2 through
the wires and into the target, resulting in the immediate loss of
neuromuscular control. This electrical stimulation effectively prohibits
the body's ability to perform coordinated action for the duration of
the impulse. The TASER C2 may also be used as a contact stun weapon,
with or without the cartridge installed. At home or on the road, the
TASER C2 Personal Protector provides a safe and effective defense
option.
To help prevent TASER devices from falling into the wrong hands,
Taser International has developed an ID system called CheckLok™.
CheckLok™ is an integrated computer-based system that prevents a TASER
device from being used until the operator has obtained an activation
code. The microprocessor that controls the entire TASER system is locked
down, and cannot function until the purchaser of the device completes
identity verification, product registration, and obtains the activation
code.
The TASER C2 cannot be activated by anyone convicted of a felony.
We cannot not ship any TASER brand device to the following states: DC, HI, IL, MA, MI, NJ, NY, RI, or WI.
TASER devices are also illegal in the following MD counties: Anne Arundel, Baltimore, & Howard.
PLEASE NOTE: The TASER C2 is equipped with CheckLok™ technology, and is shipped inactive.
After purchase, the buyer must complete the activation process, and pay a fee of $9.99.
